A lab named after a kind of judgment.
phro·ne·sis φρόνησις is Aristotle's word for practical wisdom: not knowing the rules, but judging the right action in the particular case. It is the skill software is actually made of.
01 — Why a lab
Two practices, one judgment.
Most software goes wrong at the decisions, not the code: what to build, what to leave out, which corner is safe to cut and which one collapses a year later. Those calls cannot be made from a template. They take people who have shipped enough software to recognise the particular case in front of them.
So we organised the company around keeping that judgment sharp. The lab builds and operates its own AI products, which means we live with the consequences of our own decisions: the model that was almost right, the queue that failed on a Sunday, the pricing page nobody understood. The studio takes that experience into client work, and client work brings back problems we would never have invented on our own.
Our first product, Social Media Digital Marketer, runs brands’ social media with an AI agent that drafts, schedules and publishes, and a person who approves. It is the clearest statement of how we think AI should be shipped: useful, supervised, and reliable before it is clever.
02 — The people
Small and senior, on purpose.
The lab stays small on purpose. Every engagement is run by people who have shipped production software for years, and the person who designs a system is the person who ships it and answers for it later. There is no bench to hand your project to, and no junior hours billed at senior rates.

Our products run on the practices we bring to client work. If a pattern fails in our own product, it never reaches yours.
